However, the company evolved significantly when Elwood Hunt joined H. Dean Morgan in 1965, leading to the formation of Morgan & Hunt Oil Company. This partnership focused on expanding the oil, gas, and fuel segments of the business.

By 1970, Elwood Hunt took full ownership, allowing H. Dean Morgan to retire. Under Mr. Hunt's leadership as President, the company not only continued to grow by providing top-tier products and competitive pricing but also set a benchmark in customer service that remains unmatched in Georgia. Before retiring in 2002, Mr. Hunt prepared his son-in-law, Charles Stevens, to uphold the company's values and service standards.

Today, under Stevens' leadership as President, Morgan & Hunt proudly stands as Georgia's highest-rated oil company in customer satisfaction, specializing in fueling solutions for convenience stores and construction sites, along with commercial bulk oils in the Rome and north Georgia area. The company has modernized its operations with advanced technologies like remote tank monitoring and continues to expand its offerings, including commercial fueling services, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) , wide-range of lubricants, and Renegade race fuels, aligning with the dynamic needs of our customers.
